The plan has most of the ingredients that those who want to impose the rule of law on immigration favor. However, point five is new twist on his support for the Fair Tax.
This is an interesting element of the Fair Tax that is not often mentioned. It is a tax that cannot be avoided by those who consume. It also contains a payment to all citizens that will reimburse them for the costs of essentials like food and clothing. Obviously those here illegally would not get this monthly stipend, but they would still have to pay the tax. It is an interesting and clever addition to the standard border protection immigration program. Neal Boortz should be pleased.
