Sicko play
...Not to mention how he felt at the time.Having his father as the coach isn't one of the reasons (Riley) Dodge thinks he'll play at North Texas.
Dodge will know the North Texas offense better than his teammates. He has run it successfully in high school, having helped Carroll to three consecutive state championships.
He played quarterback last year and put up astonishing numbers, passing for 4,184 yards and 54 touchdowns and rushing for 1,119 yards and 13 scores.
Dodge showed just how good he was in the Class 5A, Division I state championship game against Westlake in December, when he led the Dragons past the Chaparrals, 43-29. The match up included a game-turning play that saw Dodge vomit while standing in the shotgun, only to throw a touchdown pass two seconds later.
"Everywhere I go people bring up that play," Dodge said. "I'm kind of sick of hearing about it."
