Examining US Attorney's fact sheet in border agent case

Patterico's Pontifications has a lengthy examination of several aspects of the case against the border agents. US Attorney Johnny Sutton is to testify before Congress today about the case and hopefully some members will have the material in this post to question him about. I am still of the opinion that he used poor judgment in pursuing the case. I think it will lead to more instances where illegal alienations will resist arrest and border agents will be reluctant to stop them. Administrative punishment or firings would have been more appropriate if they were truly guilty of misconduct in the case. It is clear that the drug mule was in the country illegally. That conduct should not be rewarded. Hat tip to the Jawa Report.
