...She was clever at telling a story and putting her liberal bias up front. She was too honest about that for the NY Times which eventually fired her. I rarely agreed with her political point of view but found her entertaining in probably the same way that liberals find Rush Limbaugh entertaining.
Ivins, the syndicated writer beloved by liberals and despised by conservatives (at least most of them), died Wednesday after a seven-year battle with breast cancer. Her parting words to readers: "Raise hell.''
