MNFI:

Iraqi soldiers foiled a possible kidnapping May 29 north of Baghdad when four terrorists passed through a checkpoint with two bound hostages in the rear of their vehicle.

Soldiers from 2nd Brigade, 9th Iraqi Army Division, became suspicious when they noticed the passengers carrying weapons. The soldiers searched the vehicle and freed the two hostages.

The suspects were taken into custody for questioning.

This reinforces the point I made below about the value of cutting off the ability of the enemy to move freely. He is most vulnerable while he is on the move as this story demonstrates.
