Shutting down the rigs

NY Times:

Energy companies stepped up evacuations of offshore operations and rushed to secure refineries on the Texas coast yesterday as they prepared for Hurricane Rita, which was upgraded to a Category 5 hurricane packing winds up to 165 miles an hour. The storm appeared to be headed for the heart of the nation's oil industry.
While the news focuses on the price of oil, the company I would be most interested in is Halliburtin which is sure to get a lot of work in getting these rigs operational after the storm passes. Katrina got the rigs in the eastern Gulf and it looks like Rita ill do a number on the ones in the western Gulf. Soon the Democrat Underground will be blaming Bush for causing hurricanes so his buddies at Haliburtin can make more money.
