Blaming the damage from Katrina on the Bush-Halliburton conspiracy
I few days after the storm when it became clear a massive reconstruction effort would be needed, I jokingly suggested that Bush would be blamed for causing the hurricane so that his buddies at Halliburton could profit. Apparently at least one conspiracy theory suggest that after the storm, someone managed to get through the flood waters to blow up the manufacturing fracilities. I guess some minds just cannot accept the awsome power of nature. This kook theory did not apparently originate in the Democrat Underground, but from a writer at the Indian-Express. I would not be surprised to see the DU clutch it to their bosum.
